2020 Canadian Surety Results

Back by popular demand, the 2020 Petrela Winter Surety Benchmarker! While the Canadian Surety Industry generally remains in a healthy state at present, there was a marked uptick in claims activity in 2020, and attention turns to 2021 to assess whether the 2020 claims experience was a pandemic related anomaly or the beginning of a longer trend of challenges for the industry. In this respect, 2021 will be a telling year for Canadian Surety!
